You are being invited to participate in a research study titled Investigating dog owners’ perceptions of the use of hydrotherapy for managing rehabilitation focusing on mobility and joint pain. This study is being done by Mia Scarah from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). This study investigates dog owners’ perceptions of canine hydrotherapy, including it’s effectiveness, benefits, and challenges in supporting mobility, managing joint pain, aiding rehabilitation. Information about the survey and informed consent
Participation in this research is entirely voluntary. Before taking part, please read the following information carefully. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey on owner demographic, the dog’s details, hydrotherapy experience, treatments used, overall function and owner perception. Your data will only be used for purposes connected with this research project, including statistical analysis, academic research, and discussions relating to the perceived effectiveness, benefits, and challenges of canine hydrotherapy. All survey responses will be stored securely and accessed only by authorised researchers. You may withdraw from the study at any time by contacting the researcher and data relating to you will be removed from future analysis.
